CITY CENTER
The City of Lore never seems more alive as it does in city center. Spiraling skyscrapers emerge next to gothic castles. Paved streets turn into cobblestone and are lined with elegant walkways and unexpected gardens. It is just as normal to see cars and buses as it is to see a rider on horseback. The city center seems to run at all hours of day and may take on a more sinister appearance at night. Notable locations include the Library, City Hall, and the Hospital.
MARKETPLACE
The Market is approximately located in the down town and contains brick and mortar buildings with storefronts advertising their wares, restaurants and kiosks that serve both standard and magical cuisine, and tents lining the sidewalks and street ways that house a variety of both mundane and magical objects. Most merchants accept conventional payment, but some trade in Favors, Secrets, and Gossip.
SUBURBIA
The vibrant City Center eventually transforms into a suburban landscape interspersed by ancient trees, wrought iron fences, and houses that reflect the architecture of various time periods and cultures. The result is residential neighbors that manage to look simultaneously mismatched and well-planned. Parks, corner stores, and small businesses may be interspersed between the homes and apartments.
