LOREFOLK: RPG

The World Beyond Lore is collectively referred to as "The Real World" by the folk of Lore. In part, this is due to the lack of belief in magic, magical creatures, and other supernatural phenomenon.

As a result, Lore is not a secret. Those who arrive and leave are welcome to tell whoever they want. The most common reaction from the general public is disbelief.

Lore's magic has a way of protecting itself. Recordings, photographs, and other media have a tendency to distort when leaving Lore. (It's why, even now, there is no clear photo of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.) Should a person with sufficient power decide they want to expose, destroy, or otherwise compromise Lore, they'll find themselves unable to return once they leave the city.
