Spells in place in Lore ensure that everyone who communicates in Common Areas (streets, parks, official buildings) is understood by the folk they are trying to speak to. Two people communicating in different languages would be able to be understood by each other. Animals and other non-vocal creatures are able to communicate as well.
These spells may not be in place in private areas.
The Magic of Lore ensures that the official language of Lore is Nonsense. Audio recordings (should they not mysteriously become corrupted or deleted after leaving the boundaries of Lore) will have all recorded audio sound like gibberish, with no known grammatical structure, pattern, or code, making it next to impossible to decipher.
Visual recordings (should they not mysteriously become corrupted or deleted after leaving the boundaries of Lore) will be blurred, static, distorted, or otherwise indistinguishable. (Think about the question, "Why are all cryptid images shot on the worst cameras ever?" and you'll realize the answer is Lore.)
