DANGERS IN THE WOODS
The Woods are considered one of the most dangerous locations in Lore. While the fae, shapeshifters, and fearsome critters that live in the woods and commute to the city for work say this is propaganda, there is a higher than average rate of unsolved crime that occurs in the woods.
The fluctuating magic in the woods is the strongest. It is a popular spot to practice unlicensed magic or magic without consent, to hide secrets, and to smuggle goods in and out of the city. The ultimate liminal space, the woods claim the lives of folk who travel in and out of Lore accidentally and find themselves lost and disoriented by the moving trees.
