Non Player Characters (NPC)
LoreFolk offers several non-player characters for members with at least one accepted character to utilize in their threads. Players cannot kill or permanently alter an NPC (ex adding/removing powers) but can use NPCs to enhance their threads or provide in-character information as needed.
USING NPCS IN LORE:
LoreFolk offers several NPCs for use in plots and jumpstarting threads. These background characters are available for players with accepted characters.
We highly encourage participants to negotiate actions in #general-plotting . If you would prefer, a @LoreFolk Staff member is happy to RP an NPC of your choice in the thread instead. Please Tag LoreFolk Staff in plotting!
Guidelines:

You must have an already accepted character (the resident role) in order to utilize an NPC.

Please do not make permanent alterations to NPCs, such as killing, adding, or removing powers.

Sexually explicit content is not allowed outside of the NSFW Channels. Please, do not lewd the NPCs.

Drug Dealing Mail Carrier | Human | Uncanny Sense of Direction
As a mail carrier, Claus is available in almost every location in Lore. He's full of great local gossip and has been the witness to crimes on more than one occasion. Claus also has a tendency to sample the products he's selling.

Roa N. Oak, MD
Magical Doctor | Flatwoods Monster | Knowledge of Curses, magic, medicine
Roa is a magical, on-call physician that specializes in treating Supernatural Creatures, specifically those affected by curses. Her blend of magic and medicine has saved many lives, but even she's limited by the wonkiness of Lore's magic. Roa does housecalls, but she can be most often found in the Hospital, her clinic in the Suburbs, or the Pharmacy.

The Jackalopes
Invasive Species | Jackalope | Consumes Magical Propety
Every spring, Lore is beset by a hoard of Jackalope that descend upon the town during their frenzied breeding season. These jackalope do not have human sentience and are more akin to their wild jackrabbit counterparts, with the exception of their massive antlers and tendency to consume magical objects--including property. They cause immense property damage and are legal to hunt. Lore holds an annual festival for the hunt in the Spring.
